Welcome back to SPLIT 2 of the Metro Gears of War Women’s League. Join us as the top (8) teams from across NA & LATAM compete again for their share of $5,000.
Week 1: Saturday, February 12th
Week 2 : Saturday, February 19th
Week 3 : Saturday, February 26th
Week 4 : Saturday, March 5th
Week 5 : Saturday, March 12th
FINALS: Xbox Quarterly Women’s Tournament – Saturday, March 19th
Top 4 teams will be seeded into the Xbox Quarterly Women’s Tournament for a final competition and $5,000 in additional prizing!
Round-Robin bracket across five weeks of gameplay. Each team will play all opposing teams at least twice. Placements will be determined by overall record using score differential for tie-breakers.
Matches will be played on Saturdays, with accommodation days available for request on Mondays/Tuesdays.
Each team will play two or three matches each week, depending on the week. Matches will be organized in the Metro Discord.
Early player check-in and verification process will continue as normal. More information can be found in the Metro Discord.

Featuring your most beloved Gears casters and hosts, broadcasts will run each Saturday from 1PM – 6PM EST at twitch.tv/metroesportslive
Each broadcast will cover at least four match series, with play-by-play casting in English and recaps/intermissions in Spanish/English.
CHECK IN:
ALL teams and players competing will be required to join Discord at 11:30am EST . There is a mandatory identity confirmation check-in where each player on a team will be required to turn on a face-cam and review identity based on player sign-ups on Smash.gg. We have a zero-tolerance policy for cheating, and we have to confirm that the players that are signed up are the players that are competing. Please join the Waiting Room voice channel at 12:00PM EST to wait for team check-in
DISCORD
The Metro Esports Discord is your one-stop-shop for everything Metro Esports Gears League. It is a requirement that every team and associated player is in this discord and has their Gears role. If you are a Team Captain, it is your responsibility for ensuring that your teammates are in this discord. Failure to join discord will result in a disqualification.
ACCOMODATION DAYS
Please refer to schedule to be up to date on the game-days. If for any reason your team is unable to attend a Saturday game-day, please notify a Metro Tournament Organizer or staff member. If both competing teams agree, matches can be moved to a different day of the week.
