Who: The top 12 duos from the Metro Student Esports League

When: Sunday May 1st, 11am-3pm EST

Where: Metro Esports Gaming Lounge: 1388 W. Street Road Warminster, PA 18974

Teams will be seeded based on their accumulated points from the regular season, and put in a bracket against their fellow competitors. The finals will take a "Point Race" format, in which teams of two will enter public lobbies, and the duo with the most points will move on in the bracket. The Finals will be livestreamed from Metro's partnered Twitch account for family, friends, and fans to tune in from home. Players are expected to show up between 11:00 - 11:30 am, where they'll have time to warmup and get acquainted with the space and their fellow competitors. Metro CEO Shaon Berry among other staff, schools, and partners will begin speaking around 11:30. Games will begin promptly at 12:00 noon. Several Philadelphia based universities will have booths set up to share information on their esports programs and invite parents to learn more about the world of collegiate esports, including Drexel University, Widener University, and SPIN. Once the finals are complete, we will conclude with a short award ceremony, reflections, pictures, and media! Spectators are welcome!
