Smash Ultimate League will be a 2v2 doubles round-robin league, where each team of 2 will play each other one time.

The league will take place starting November 5th, with matches being played every Saturday from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

We ask players to arrive at 12:00 p.m. and plan on competing at 12:30 p.m.

The league will feature six weeks of regular season matches followed by achampions event.

All games will be played with 3-stocks and a 7 minute timer.

Players will first decide on a stage from the legal list of starter stages

Players will connect their controllers and select characters, for the sake of clarity, it is recommended team A take player slots 1 and 2, and team B take player slots 3 and 4

Equipment:

  • Gamecube controller adapters available
  • Controllers provided upon request

For regular season events, teams will play each other in a round robin pool. Each set in the pool will be played as a Best of 5, meaning one team will need to win 3 games to win the set.

Each team will receive a number of points based on their performance in their pool.

Each set will be worth 5 points total, one point for each game, with the winner receiving a guaranteed 3, and the losing team receiving up to 2.

The set winner can also earn more points if they win in less than 5 games, with 1 bonus point awarded for a 3-1 set, and 2 bonus points awarded for a 3-0 set

Points will decide seeding for the playoff bracket.

Playoff bracket will be standard double elimination, with best of 3 games up until top 3 (winners and losers final, and grand finals), which will be best of 5 games.
