Metro Madness Gaming and Esports Summer Camp

Introducing the Metro Madness Gaming and Esports Summer Camp! This summer camp is filled with gaming and educational programs to enrich your child’s ability to communicate, socialize, learn, and understand the various occupational outlets that gaming, esports, and STEM have to offer. Kids can expect to play their favorite titles, or explore new ones, as they race to win awesome prizes. Each week of this Summer Camp experience is themed around various competitive gaming and esports games, skills, or training exercises. This summer, everyone is on an equal playing field at Metro Esports.

  • Week 2 – Video Game Design- The fundamentals of Video Game Design can be scary. We’re here to show you the basics and provide the tools needed to gauge your interest in playing a part in designing products for the fastest-growing entertainment industry in history.
  • Week 3 – Content Creation- Like making YouTube videos? Do you record your gameplay? Learn how to creatively mash all of your content together to produce the very videos you know and love.
  • Week 4 – Twitch Streaming- Streamers are revolutionizing the modern entertainment industry, but getting into it can be complicated. We’ll go through the fundamentals of streaming and provide the real insight into how to get started and grow your brand.
  • Week 5 – Roblox and Code- Playing Roblox is fun, but have you ever wanted to make your own Roblox worlds? We’ll show you the basics of how to do so and how those skills can translate into a career in coding.

  • Week 7 – Minecraft and Code- Minecraft has infinite amounts of customization, but have you ever wondered how it actually works? We’ll show you the basics of how to code in Java script and how those skills can translate into a career in coding.
  • Week 8 – Train Like a Pro- Going pro in gaming is like going pro in football. It requires dedication and a focus on physical and mental health. We’ll provide the necessary steps in how to train like a pro in the healthiest way possible.
  • Week 9 – Build a PC- Ever wondered what that small little part in your PC is for? Let’s learn together what each of the parts do and how they work together.

  • Week 11 – Cosplay in Gaming- Gaming is best when it’s done with community. One of the best parts of the gaming community is the passion for characters from fantasy worlds. We’ll show you what cosplay is all about and provide tips and tricks in creating your own cosplay outfit!
